Water based cleaning process may require three separate process steps, wash, rinse and dry, to achieve the desired precision cleaning. Washing exposes the parts to a cleaning agent to remove dirt, rinsing removes the cleaning agents from the parts and finally drying removes the water from the parts. However, Aqueous cleaning enhances cleaning efficiency, lower operating costs, greater repeatability, better process control and minimal environmental impact.

Solvecon is a vacuum assisted, single chamber, multi-process type degreasing equipment based on vacuum pressure. The unique feature of this product is that despite the use of Chlorinated Solvents, it is an environment-friendly process. The entire process of cleaning, vapor degreasing and drying is conducted under a vacuum.

Other solvents like Hydrocarbons/ Isopar-H can be also used as cleaning media in the same machine. There is a built-in distillation process, under vacuum, for continuous regeneration of the cleaning medium.  This maintains the system in a closed loop with very high purity levels of the bath.  This helps in drastically reducing the consumption of media. These types of systems are environment-friendly and are extensively used in developed markets.
