Millipore testing
Millipore testing is a cleanliness testing method by measuring the mass of non-soluble impurity on a component.
The component to be tested is cleaned by a spray gun using a solution. The dirty solution is collected and filtered through a filter paper which is dried and weighed to get the weight of the contamination.
The results of the test will be expressed in terms of mg (milligram).
Eg. Millipore pre cleaning = _____mg
Millipore post-cleaning = ______mg
This is one of the method of quantifying the cleanliness level that IMECO employs.
